Search online and you'll find plenty of sites saying it doesn't, but as of September 2026 Shoe Carnival has an official Lowest Price Guarantee: find a lower price on an item in store and it'll match it plus give you a $10 reward. The big catch is that the official policy excludes online marketplaces like Amazon and Zappos.
I found that out the fun way. In January 2025, my local store matched an Amazon price and knocked $10 off my sneakers, no questions asked.

How My Store Matched an Amazon Price
I went to Shoe Carnival to buy a pair of sneakers. The in-store price was $65, but I remembered seeing the same shoes for $55 on Amazon. I didn't want to pay more, and I was about to leave when I decided to ask the manager:

To my surprise, the manager said, "Yes! We can price match any large retailer up to 20% off."

Keep in mind that was one manager's call in early 2025. Today the official terms exclude Amazon and Zappos, so a match against them is up to the store. Foot Locker and DSW aren't marketplaces, so they're a safer bet.
How to Get a Price Match at Shoe Carnival
- Do your homework. Before you go, check prices at competitors like Foot Locker and DSW. (Amazon and Zappos are officially excluded, but you can still ask.)
- Make sure it qualifies. It needs to be the same in-stock style, single-pair pricing, and at least $1.00 cheaper. Clearance and BOGO prices don't count.
- Ask at the store. Politely ask an associate or manager and explain what you found.
- Have proof ready. Pull up the competitor's listing on your phone to show at the register.
- Ask about the $10 reward. The current guarantee adds a $10 reward on top of the match, limited to one per person per day.
